Courage to use a sketchbook

The sketchbook is something very personal

For me as an artist, it is important to use my sketchbooks to realise my vision, imagination, colour and form compositions freely and without constraint. The sketchbook is a practice book that accompanies me always and everywhere. I use the pages for my sketches and spontaneous ideas, set focal points and document important things for the realisation of my new works. And I often create independent works from the sketchbook pages or find basic works for works on cardboard.

The successful pages from the sketchbook can be professionally framed in the original work or presented as prints on aluminium dibond, acrylic glass or canvas.
