Gallery Geissbühler Zofingen

‘Nordic Style’ exhibition

at the Pitsch Geissbühler Gallery, CH-Zofingen

The solo exhibition at Galerie Pitsch Geissbühler in Zofingen began with the vernissage on Saturday, February 29, 2020 (from 5:00 pm) and was originally planned to run until the finissage on Saturday, April 4, 2020 (from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm). In between, Sunday aperitifs were planned on March 15 and 29, 2020 (both from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.), where I was present in person.
Due to the closure due to the coronavirus from March 19 to May 18, the exhibition was extended from May 19 – 30.

In addition to works from earlier creative periods, new works from the ‘Nordic style series’ were shown to the public for the first time in the exhibition. The paintings from this phase were created after a visit to Finnish Lapland in spring 2019 and are based on the fantastic colors, shapes and experiences of this fascinating period in the far north.

For the first time, I have also created four painted figurines to match the paintings, which have found a special place in the exhibition.
